A support and resource for mental health and bullying, founded by Tina Long in memory of her son Tyler, because everything starts with one.
Tyler was high-functioning autistic, thoughtful and kind, and never understood cruelty. He died by bullycide on October 17, 2009, at 17. Since then, his mother Tina has fought to bring awareness to mental health and bullying.
There's enough cruelty in the world. We bring the light, a resource for families who need someone in their corner, because everything starts with one.
That every child can learn in an environment free from bullying and harassment, and that mental health, including autism, is understood without stigma.
New goal statement coming soon.
Everyone who supports a child needs a place to start.
Guidance and community, so you don't have to learn this the hard way.
Parent resources →Practical tools to learn about school safety for all kids, from a speaker who's lived it.
Educator resources →You are not alone, and your voice matters. Help is always one call away.
Student resources →We've learned assemblies alone aren't enough, so ESW1 brings schools a comprehensive toolkit.
"My Voice Will Not Fall Silent," a student club spreading awareness in schools.

A real story, told honestly, for students, parents, and educators ready to talk.
